Quick guide: Logging in with Trezor

Connecting your Trezor device to your computer or mobile app is the safest way to authenticate and perform transactions. The device signs messages and transactions locally, so your private keys never leave the hardware.

Connect

Use the supplied USB cable or supported mobile connection to attach the device.

Unlock

Enter your PIN directly on the device to unlock. The host cannot read the PIN.

Confirm

Review transaction details on the device screen and physically confirm to sign.

Troubleshooting

If your device is not detected: try a different USB cable, confirm the device is powered, and ensure you’ve allowed any browser/web USB permissions. For persistent issues, visit the official support page.

Use original cable or a high-quality data cable (not charge-only).
Try another USB port or a different computer.
Check for firmware updates in Trezor Suite.

Security reminders

Never enter your 12/24-word recovery seed into a website or app. Trezor login uses the physical device to sign — the seed stays offline. If someone asks for your seed to "help you log in," it is a scam.
